This Thursday European Sambo Championship came to the end in Tbilisi, Georgia. The third day of the event saw combat sambo practitioners compete against each other in nine different male weight classes. Russian team scored the highest number of medals, having conquered the gold eight times and bronze once.
Russians to win the medals were: Urmat Chulunov (-52 kg), Sergei Luzin (-57 kg), Sergei Kamilov (-62 kg), Maksim Kuptsov (-68 kg), Igor Isaykin (-74 kg), Vyacheslav Vasilevskiy (-90 kg), Kirill Sidelnikov (-100 kg), Stanislav Shushko (+100 kg). Igor Antonyuk (-82 kg) has won the bronze.
