M-1 Challenge Finals
The definitive date and time of the M-1 Challenge 2008 Finals have been set. On January, 11-th in Amstelveen which is located just several minutes to the north of Amsterdam, the long-anticipated finals will be held. Special Sports Centrum will host the event and Team Holland will clash with Russia's Red Devil for the main trophy of the inaugural M-1 Challenge season.
M-1 reschedules M-1 Challenge finals
Due to extreme weather conditions, M-1 has been forced to reschedule its M-1 Challenge event that had been scheduled to take place on Friday, December 26 in Seattle, Washington.

DREAM middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi is concentrated on putting on more weight and transitioning to light heavyweight. His next challenge will be the New Year's Eve bout at K-1 Dynamite!! 2008 in Japan under K-1 rules. His opponent will be K-1 veteran Japanese Musashi (49-28-5-1). Alexey Oleinik to replace Sidelnikov in the M-1 Challenge Finals
Russian veteran Alexey Oleinik is set to take place of Kirill Sidelnikov in the final showdown of M-1 Challenge 2008 season that will emanate from Seattle, USA, come December, 26-th.
This sudden change has to do with strict policy of Nevada Sport Comission that forbids athletes to compete more frequently than once in a 1,5 months.
Oleinik sports professional MMA record of 9-4 with the last victory over Alexander Timonov via choke at M-1 Challenge 4 back in July. 29-year-old boasts more than a decade of MMA experience.

As we've just got officially confirmed: Dutch striker Gilbert Yvel (35-12-1) signed a three-fight contract with Affliction. Yvel is set to debut on January, 24-th at Affliction 2 'Day of Reckoning' where his opponent will be non other than top heavyweight Josh Barnett (23-5).
Yvel is on 7-fight winning streak with the lates bout won just two weeks ago at M-1 Challenge 9 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Barnett is coming of the revenge against Pedro Rizzo at debut Affliction show called 'Banned'.
