The conflict of interest keeps him from remaining referee and being a part of broadcasting process.
McCarthy's first on-air assignment is expected to be commentating routine with with play-by-play announcer Mauro Ranallo for The Fight Network's coverage of TKO 31 which will be held on December,14 in Montreal.
