Strikeforce has released a completed line-up of their “Destruction” event that will take place at the HP Pavilion, San Jose on November 21st.

XX, 2008) –Titan Entertainment and M-1 Global are proud to announce the return of professional Mixed Martial Arts to Kansas City, Missouri as HDNet and Affliction present the “M-1 Challenge.” After successful events in Holland, Russia, Spain, Korea, and England the Affliction M-1 Challenge will finally take place in the USA.  On October 29th 2008, the M-1 Challenge will come to Kansas City, Missouri for the 8th installment of this new fight series. Harrah’s Casino VooDoo lounge will be the launch pad for this explosive event. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the first bout starting at 8:00 p.m.

The co-main event features Batamweight Champion, ADRIAN "THE BULLY" WOOLEY (5-0-0), making his first title defence against former Ultimate Fighter reality show cast member, NOAH THOMAS (11-5-0).  Another incredible fight will feature five-time UFC veteran, FORREST PETZ (14-5-0), against one of Canada’s best welterweights, TJ GRANT (11-2-0).  Also, recent Ultimate Fighter reality show contestant, LANCE EVANS (2-2-0), returns to TKO to face Montreal’s own, the very popular STEVE BOSSE (3-1-0).

The late Chuck Berry sung “I’m going to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come” and so did the Spanish, Japanese, Korean and French MMA fighters that participated in the 8th edition of the M-1 Challenge. For this event M-1 teamed up with Affliction Entertainment and will continue to do so in the future.

On October, 11 a preliminary try-out procedure was held in Amstelveen, just outside Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The main goal is to discover new prospects who would subsequently take part in the 2009 M-1 Challenge season. A bunch of hopefuls comprised of 5 weight classes gathered in the Sports Centrum to train, spar and showcase their overall skills. Beside M-1 bosses present that day were the members of Team Holland and DREAM middleweight champ Gegard Mousasi whose interview you may encounter here shortly.
